FAQ
Parent questions before using Boredom Rescue HQ.
What ages is this for?
The first version is designed for parents of kids roughly ages 5-12. Parents should adapt or skip activities based on the child, home, weather, materials, and supervision available.
Is this independent play?
It is parent-started, kid-chosen activity planning. The parent sets the space, time, safety boundary, and mess limit. Kids choose a quest and make it their own.
Does the site collect child data?
No child accounts are created. The parent list asks only for a parent or guardian email and consent. Do not submit child names, school details, exact ages, photos, locations, or contact details.
What is in the paid pack?
The Summer Quest Pack includes 48 quests across 8 weeks, weekly themes, setup notes, supply swaps, cleanup prompts, and kid-facing challenge cards.
Why is the pack $12?
The price is for a summer routine, not a pile of generic worksheets. It is meant to sit between free idea lists that still require planning and shipped activity boxes that cost more and may arrive too late.
What happens if checkout is not open?
The free tool and sample pack stay usable. Parents can join the launch list and mark purchase interest so checkout can be enabled once the owner-controlled payment account is ready.
Is this childcare, tutoring, or therapy?
No. It is a parent-facing activity resource. Adult judgment and supervision are required.
